The founder

Davis Olds

Davis founded War Room Education after hundreds of hours of one-on-one tutoring with roughly 50 individual clients. He kept seeing bright students handed rules and shortcuts when they needed a clearer view of the reasoning itself.

His method is straightforward: slow the argument down, make each step explicit, then build speed from understanding. His style is patient, direct, and collaborative. A wrong answer is useful evidence; it shows us what to work on next.

Davis graduated summa cum laude from Wofford College with degrees in Government and History and a minor in English. He scored a 175 on the law-school admissions test. That score matters, but it is not the pitch. The teaching has to stand on its own.

What we believe

01

Understanding travels.

Shortcuts break when a question changes form. Sound reasoning survives unfamiliar material.

02

Difficulty should be earned.

Practice should challenge the skill you are building, not bury you in confusion for its own sake.

03

Students deserve candor.

No guaranteed scores, manufactured urgency, or oversized packages. Just a clear assessment and serious work.

Clear reasoning starts here.

Let’s talk about your preparation.
