Original Logical Reasoning practice
One correct answer does not mean you own the skill. Work it again with a different argument, a different subject, and a wrong answer that is harder to dismiss.
It isn’t designed to flatter you. It’s designed to train you.
Train with a purpose
Choose the question family giving you trouble. Start at a difficulty you can learn from. Work upward as your explanations become more precise.
Work on conclusions, assumptions, flaws, inferences, strengthening, weakening, and other Logical Reasoning tasks without waiting for them to appear in a full test.
Move from foundational work to demanding arguments and close answer choices. The aim is reasoning that holds up when the wording gets less forgiving.
Fresh questions give you a chance to work through the reasoning without remembering an answer from an earlier practice session.
After the answer
“Careless” tells you very little. Did you reverse a conditional? Treat “some” as “most”? Choose a premise when the question asked for the conclusion?
Use the answer explanations to check your reasoning, then return to that question family. The useful result of a practice set is knowing what to do differently on the next one.
